Back like a phoenix rising from the ashes...

or more like a sluggish hippo emerging from a mudhole but whatever works.

I had plans to start a new blog but then read my last few posts on this one and decided to document here.

My weight is at an all time high. At the start of the year I had sciatic pain that was constant and impacting on my left leg. I re joined the gym mainly for stretching purposes. Pilates in particular has made a huge difference and alleviated the pain. I haven't been very regular at the gym. Weight wise I started at 96 kgs, got down to 92.9 kgs, and this morning was 95 kgs but that was after breakfast but I will take that as my weight today.

I will be at the gym more this week. It's school holidays so my daughter and I are going to Zumba together tonight, I have an appointment with a trainer on Wednesday (I am dreading that), then we will go to Balance and Zumba on Friday. I just need a better plan I think and to stick to it. I could win a gold for talking myself out of stuff. I did push through last week and went twice when I really didn't want to.

So my plan is to log my sleep, food, water and exercise. And try and address my feelings that hold me back. I think any kind of blogging/journalling can be counter productive if you hyper focus but I guess I want to be able to process things well and not have it snowball on me.
