Feeling fit

I should have mentioned this in my last post but I forgot and think it deserves a post all of its own.

Part of the TTT workout today she called 21, 15, 9. She had us do lifts with the weight bar, run on the step and do ab crunches. 21 the first round, then 15, then 9.

Well I kept pace with the instructor. And....I was the first one finished. The first one in a class of around 20 women. It felt awesome to push myself. My fitness has increased so much.

The week so far

Has been busy as usual.

Monday I didn't make it to the gym. I was going to do Pump first thing but I didn't and later in the day was glad I didn't as I had done Body Balance and knew I had pushed myself but I hadn't realised how much when so many muscles were aching!

Today I went this morning and did TTT which is supposed to be Thighs, Tummies, Tails but she had us doing some weight work so again I was relieved I didn't do Pump. I then stayed for Pilates and did Zumbatonic with my daughter. All up I burned 700 calories.

I am not sure what I am doing tomorrow. The kid's Dad will be here so I can do a few classes. I am not sure which ones though. Pump is on at 4:30 and then New Body at 6:30 and Yoga at 7:30. I am leaning towards doing all three but I don't know if I will be too "weighted out" if I do that. And it would also mean coming home for a brief period of time. I do think Pump needs to be the priority though-I haven't done one this week and I can't get to another class this week.

I am going away this weekend for my SIL's 40th. I am driving up to the central coast on Friday and staying two nights. Very excited to be seeing all my family and having a couple of days of peace. Mum and I have planned some nice long walks so we will move but at a more lesiurely pace :)

Blogging Challenge Week 6

http://nutritionally-yours.blogspot.com.au/2012/03/blogger-challenge-week-6-adjustments.html

1. What adjustments have you had to make to your exercise regime over the last 6
weeks?

I have gone from a beginner to an intermediate level of fitness.
I have finally figured out what classes I love and last week did the 3 cardio, 2 Pump and 1 core class.
I jogged for 7 minutes.
My abdominal muscles are much stronger.

2. What have you changed in regards to your food intake?

I don't follow the food plan exactly but I do keep within the calorie plan. Alison's Penang Chicken and Nat's Lasagna have been lifesavers for me for quick, yummy dinners.

3. What is the difference in your mindset?

I am firmly in robot mode. I rarely want to go off the plan but even if I feel like I want to then I can easily get back to a positive, healthy mindset.

Doing so well

Two solid weeks for not struggling with food and exercising. I may have entered robot mode. When I waver I snap right back to what I need to be doing.

The upcoming week may be tricky-my period is due so I often have a real lack of energy and want to eat. I am going to keep a really careful eye on that.

I am also going away next weekend for my SIL's 40th. I am not concerned about being tempted at the party but I am concerned about getting into holiday mode and not making the best food choices. I don't know the area either so no idea where we may eat. I think I will google and look at what's around so I can decide. Being prepared will help. I can take some things with me though for throughout the day.

I finished an assessment today-a whole day early. This week I have to cram to keep up to date as I have another 2 assessments due in a fortnight. I also want to get my hair done and have a pedicure. Thankfully it is a pretty easy week for me.

Best week ever!

I had this post saved and wrote it last Wednesday.

What a day!
I expected a good week and it was. I barely slept last night
because I was so excited to weigh in. Hopped on the scales to see.....69.4 kgs.
A loss this week of 1.6 kgs and the best part? I now have a healthy BMI of
24.9. I felt on top of the world today.
Also found time to listen to all the videos I had missed.
There is another one up already but I will look at that tomorrow.
It was a real milestone day. Today is March 21st.
I started this process on October 21st. So five months later I am
15.4 kgs smaller and I regularly go to the gym and do all kinds of things I
have never done before. This is the list
Zumba
Body Combat
Body Balance
Swissball
Body Pump
TTT
New Body
Fat Burner
Body Step
Pilates
The only classes I haven’t tried are cycle, boxing and
circuit. That’s a pretty impressive list to have knocked over in 4 months since
I joined the gym.
